Castro Valley Marketplace

This mosaic mural was commissioned in the spring of 2020 by a development company in the East Bay. It is located on the side of a grocery store in Castro Valley, CA. I designed a colorful mural that is visible from a far distance to attract business. In the midst of the pandemic, the mosaic brought joy to the residents of Castro Valley, many of whom stopped by to chat during the installation process. Throughout this project, I collaborated closely with architect Sudhish Mohindroo of SZFM Design Studio. The mural measures 360 square feet and is titled Urban Gardens.
